There are a number of external factors that may impact why your favorite e-juice, just doesn't taste quite right.

  • Bottle handling: Please shake the bottle before using it - so that the flavors can be properly mixed. Keep your bottles away from sunlight.
  • Dehydration: Vaping can dry out your mouth and tongue. This can cause a condition known as 'Vapor's Tongue', where you aren't able to taste as well as normal. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated, and maybe switch flavor profiles to give your taste buds a wake-up call!
  • Old coils/atomizers: After prolonged usage, coils will need changing. A change in flavor or harsh vape will be the hints that coils need changing.

Keeping your atomizer clean ensures its proper operation and quality of vape. Taking it apart, running it under the sink and then letting it dry should be enough. You may want to watch that the o-rings don't dislodge and float away. You can also use a toothbrush and a drop of dishwashing liquid to clean well. How often is really up to you. Between 1 week and 1 month is when most vapers usually clean their atomizers.

  • Check your wattage: Tinker with the wattage of your device to find your sweet spot. On a new, properly primed coil, start at lower wattage and work your way up.
